چکیده
Background: To assess microleakage in class II cavities restored with composite resins by using various placement techniques. Materials and methods: A total of 60 samples were enrolled, 10 each group. They divided into 6 groups. Scoring for the degree dye penetration at occlusal cervical walls evaluated. The results analyzed SPSS software. significance was determined p-value less than 0.05. Results: Microleakage wall mean scores groups are depicted. Results showed significantly better score 3 4, when compared to other group 1and 2 0.21 1.0. Conclusion: Flowable as first increment is use hence, recommended cavities.

In-Vitro Evaluation of Microleakage of Class II Cavities Restored with Bulk-Fill Flowable Composite
Background and Aim: Composite placement poses many challenges, especially in the gingival floor with dentinal margins. Microleakage is one of the factors affecting the longevity of dental restorations. We aimed to compare the microleakage of cavities filled with bulk-fill composite at enamel and dentinal margins. Materials and Methods: In this experimental study, a total of 102 sound human pre...
متن کاملMicroleakage Evaluation of Class II Composite Resin Restorations with Different Thicknesses of Resin-Modified Glass Ionomer
Background and Aim: One of the weaknesses of Class II composite resin restorations is gingival microleakage which contributes to postoperative sensitivity and secondary caries. The aim was to evaluate the microleakage in Class II composite resin restorations with different thicknesses of resin-modified glass ionomer (RMGI). Materials and Methods: In this in-vitro study, standardized Class II s...
متن کاملMicroleakage in Class V Cavities Restored with Composite Resin Using Chitosan and Consepsis as the Cavity Disinfectants
Materials and Methods: Class V cavities were prepared on 20 extracted mandibular molars. The cavities in the experimental groups were pre-treated with a scrub of cavity disinfectants followed by application of bonding agent. Preparations without cavity disinfectants served as control. After the cavities were restored with resin composite (G-Aenial Universal Flo), the specimens were subjected to...
